Quick Recipe: Easy Banana Ice Cream

What a quick ice cream made at home. Here’s a treat for all the family which can be whizzed up in seconds.

Keep the peeled banana chunks in a sealed container in the freezer so that it can be made in minutes when you are rushed for time.

It’s low in fat and tastes great.

Easy Banana Ice Cream

  • Servings: 4-6 people

5-6 medium ripe bananas, 550g (1¼ Ib), peeled and chopped
5 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons organic runny honey
15g (½oz) flaked almonds, toasted


  1. Open freeze the banana pieces on a baking tray until solid for about 4-5 hours.
  2. Place the banana pieces into a food processor with the milk and blend until smooth. 
  3. Serve immediately, drizzled with honey and sprinkled with nuts. 

Cooks tip: For a touch of adult luxury, drizzle with Baileys and top with crushed Maltesers!
